Product Description

TKTX Prep Cream is a premium topical anesthetic, highly regarded by tattoo artists and professionals for its effectiveness in numbing the skin before tattooing or laser treatments.

Application Instructions:

  1. Preparation: Wash the area with soap and water, then dry it thoroughly.
  2. Pre-Treatment: Apply a hot towel to the area for 5 minutes, then dry completely.
  3. Initial Application: Apply a generous layer of TKTX cream to the area and massage it in thoroughly.
  4. Second Layer: Apply a thicker layer (approximately 2-3 mm thick) of TKTX cream over the area.
  5. Cover: Wrap the treated area with plastic wrap to keep it warm and prevent the cream from drying out.
  6. Timing: Leave the cream on for 1 hour before beginning the tattoo or laser procedure. For extended sessions, apply numbing cream to the entire area, removing it in sections as needed.
  7. Effect Duration: The numbing effect typically lasts 3-5 hours after the cream is removed, depending on skin type and location.

Important Notes:

  • Numbing Time: The duration of numbness varies based on the thickness of the application and the length of time the area is covered.

Pharmacological Actions:

TKTX contains lidocaine, which works by temporarily blocking pain signals along nerves.

Pharmacokinetics:

Lidocaine may be absorbed through the skin depending on the site of application, exposure duration, concentration, and dosage. Reddening of the treated area may occur.

Warnings:

  • Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
  • Do not use during pregnancy or lactation.
  • Avoid use if allergic to lidocaine or other local anesthetics.
  • Do not apply to broken skin, rashes, or near the eyes, ears, mouth, nose, anus, or genital area of children.
  • For adults and children over 6 years old: apply no more than twice a day. Consult a physician for children under 6.
  • Discontinue use and consult a medical provider if any unusual effects occur.

Adverse Reactions:

Possible side effects include redness, swelling, or unusual sensations at the application site. Severe allergic reactions, such as hives, itching, facial swelling, or difficulty breathing, are rare but require immediate medical attention.

Overdosage:

Reactions to medications vary. If unusual effects occur, discontinue use and seek medical advice. Treatment should be symptomatic and supportive.
